Today in Italy, it's Epiphany, a holy day where apart from the appearance of Jesus, in Italy we are used to gifting sweets to kids inside a sock made for this day.
Inside there could be chocolate, candies, sweets, or coal if the kid wasn't good through the year. It is special coal made from sugar, but kids think it's real.
So it is a festivity day to spend with family. I gifted my parents an Epiphany sock with two surprises, and I got one with a DVD of a Charlie Chan movie I was missing. So, as you can see, Epiphany is also for adults. And I'm so happy :)
